This map is absolutely horrendous. Third parties left and right and the dumb * prowlers giving your location away causing even more third parties. This map design is dog *, nobody likes it. For the love of God, remove it from the game already.

Right this map sucks and all they did was up date one area, o my bad and add loot trap zones. I've bought ever season amd this one as well but I'm about done. These creators are getting worse. Just bring OG kings canyon back and worlds edge. Those were the best 2 maps they created all the new maps and updates just suck.

@9lbmb78pebwv Yeah, pull the map. Why should we be expected to alter our behavior to suite a different environment, or learn new skills to become better, more versatile players? Why shouldn't everyone just play the maps we like and play the game the way we want to play it?

@reconzero I'm not gonna alter my gameplay (that worked on every other map) because the developers created a flawed map. The right thing here would be to either fix the issues or, even better, get the map out of the game entirely.

@9lbmb78pebwv It just puzzles me how radically different your playstyle must be from mine that your experience on that map is so horrendous while mine remains absolutely identical to my experience on every other map.

Yeah it * sucks. The map is too big, the pois are *, prowlers are annoying and not fun. all around it is just awful.

For me I think the maps that promote medium to long range play are more fun than the "hot drop cluster*beep*" ones. I mean you always get close. But the maps that are a bit varied are more fun personally.

Complaining about 3:rd parties while you promote fragment...

@DrWizardoI think the map is meh, but I do believe 3rd parties are ESSENTIAL to gameplay. Just because you don’t like them, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t exist. It’s bad for streamers, because they are unprepared, but that’s how a battle royale would be. Hey look the guys fighting over there, let’s wait until they are weak then attack! Who wouldn’t like this idea, this is a cornerstone of a real battle royale.

i literally stop playing every time storm point is up. i'm sure i'm not the only one. and i'm sure Respawn sees a large exodus of players from this map but 1) they are fixing it or 2) they are too busy selling skins to care about anything except making money.

@BigMacAttack8 If streamers have valid arguments then fine, but just "I don't win" isn't one so who cares?
Would be interesting to see map stats, on which map you do best.
I think SP is ok, it does have quite a few open areas, and it would be nice with more tunnels through mountains but that is about it. I don't know if the games are more varied or not.
SP has command center, the windmills, antenna and falls-something.
WE has fragment E/W and the place with gondolas.
Olympus has pretty good spread imo, although I hate fight night, same with KC.

I guarantee you that Respawn has excruciatingly detailed data on player retention vs. map rotation, in-game purchases as related to seasonal map changes and exclusions, and a whole lot of other information about map popularity. If Storm Point was as unpopular as so many people would like to believe that it is, to the point that it was affecting revenue, then they would have done something about it by now.
