Gibby needs a nerf
I don't know why you buffed Gibby. His ult being thrown too far is too strong. He has fast heals inside his dome even though it has 30 seconds. I just lost a match because Gibby threw his ult miles ...

I highly agree that he needs a nerf, he's just ridiculous now especially for us low profile legends. (Look, let's not try to hide 15% vs -5% under the rug, your hitbox size doesn't matter, try fighting Gibraltar as Pathfinder without using your tactical if you want a quick example).
I miss being able to 1v1 him, I want to be able to 1v1 any legend, he's the only one I can't do that with because he's so overpowered and I'm afraid he is actually meta on Xbox, as lobbies are completely packed with gibby mains, especially ranked, I hear bombardments coming at least 6 times on the last 3 rounds.
Two of my dear friends stopped playing Apex because of how OP he is, my friend stops playing when we get little free time to when he gets unfairly beaten by him enough times, it causes more commotion than people think, the solution to the hitbox is literally just jumping or shifting left and right like any other legend, I've done this before playing as Gibraltar it's not hard at all.
One time my squad got killed and I was left with like 30hp, the enemy squad was shooting at me multiple times and I got hit loads, I turned around with my G7 and arm shield and with the little health I had remaining I still killed them both with headshots and carried myself with no syringes to the respawn beacon, that is not skill, that is luck! In conclusion, please nerf him so we can spare controllers and keyboards from further damage 🙂

It has been awhile. Gibby has gotten stronger for Season 3 without a doubt.
Do I still think he needs a nerf? Somewhat yes.
But I only think his gun shield needs the nerf.
At the moment, it is 75 Health. I just wished it was reverted back to 50 because 75 is too much and he also has 15%. There are times where he should have died but doesn't because he has a free blue shield. He pops a battery and that Gun Shield will be fully healed again too.
If they don't revert it back to 50 HP for the Gun Shield, they could add a slight delay when it pops up. The Gun Shield deploys instantly and it's super fast.

- @Leo_the_Lion25 Gibraltar can be fairly balanced with just one change: add a 30 second or more cooldown after his gunshield is broken. Breaking his gunshield should signal pushing. In it's current state, he will have it back quicker than a pathfinder slingshotting into his dome. And then 1v1 with a 20% difference and still another 75 health if you don't hit 100% headshots. Equal skill, Gibraltar wins that 1v1 every time. Usually with 30 to 60 health coincidentally...
- @Pallo420 Completely agree with the shield cool down. No idea what it is now, but breaking it should activate a timer that your team has earned to get aggressive with the Gib.
@tronic1987 I'm confused by his gun shield activating quickly after breaking. In season 1 once it was broken you had to pop a shield cell or wait a LONG time for it to come back which was fair. If he's really getting it back within seconds then I don't know if this is another bug or unnecessary stealth buff.
