Gibby needs a nerf
I don't know why you buffed Gibby. His ult being thrown too far is too strong. He has fast heals inside his dome even though it has 30 seconds. I just lost a match because Gibby threw his ult miles ...

I highly agree that he needs a nerf, he's just ridiculous now especially for us low profile legends. (Look, let's not try to hide 15% vs -5% under the rug, your hitbox size doesn't matter, try fighting Gibraltar as Pathfinder without using your tactical if you want a quick example).
I miss being able to 1v1 him, I want to be able to 1v1 any legend, he's the only one I can't do that with because he's so overpowered and I'm afraid he is actually meta on Xbox, as lobbies are completely packed with gibby mains, especially ranked, I hear bombardments coming at least 6 times on the last 3 rounds.
Two of my dear friends stopped playing Apex because of how OP he is, my friend stops playing when we get little free time to when he gets unfairly beaten by him enough times, it causes more commotion than people think, the solution to the hitbox is literally just jumping or shifting left and right like any other legend, I've done this before playing as Gibraltar it's not hard at all.
One time my squad got killed and I was left with like 30hp, the enemy squad was shooting at me multiple times and I got hit loads, I turned around with my G7 and arm shield and with the little health I had remaining I still killed them both with headshots and carried myself with no syringes to the respawn beacon, that is not skill, that is luck! In conclusion, please nerf him so we can spare controllers and keyboards from further damage 🙂

@onii_luvs_otters The first thing I have to say is that the majority of the community agrees that the size of the hit box matters. The best example of this is Wraith who is only top tier because of her tiny hit box. The second thing is that Gibraltar's main claim to fame is his potential to 1v1 other characters so complaining that hes tougher to 1v1 seems silly to me.
Lastly you should never strafe or jump around as Gibby unless you're running away. You lose the protection of your gun shield (his main tool) and you're still really easy to hit. He is only strong when he doesn't have to move.
@Leo_the_Lion25 There always has been a slight delay between when Gibraltar ADS and when his gun shield deploys. It also slightly obscures the player's vision when it activates all of which leads to most Gibraltars hesitating before they fire. I use him so much that I don't even think about it anymore so maybe it was changed and I didn't notice? As far as I know there is a delay though.
If everyone agrees he needs to be nerfed I hope they start with less essential pieces of his kit. Eliminate the damage reduction and half the damage of his ult for all I care but if he loses the ability to 1v1 I don't see any point in picking him anymore. Maybe eliminate his 1v1 ability but continue building him towards team support with buffs similar to what happened to his dome? Otherwise people just want to turn a character that they don't like back into a joke.
