Gibraltar’s shield shouldn’t block more than 50 damage

As everyone already knows, Gibraltar is an OP tank legend. His “nerf” from 75-50 shield was not a nerf. If you hit his shield with a peacekeeper for 120 damage...it just breaks the shield. Essentiall...

@hiddending Gibraltar can't revive faster. He revives at same speed.
So what? He takes an extra hit to the front. You could just break his shield and then rush him... Sure, the shield can absorb extra damage, up to 100 or so, but if you use, say, an r-99 it won't make much of a difference.
Oh, woah, you can drop a grenade or shoot his legs, there are options.
He really isn't that op. He is strong, but not op.
His 360 shield has a long 30 second cooldown, whereas Lifeline can put up her shield whenever she revives a teammate.

Plus, if the shield didn't absorb damage, it would be just a boring extra health. Whereas now, it has a little complexity to it.

First of, yes he is OP for everything he has compared to other legends. In competitive gameplay (ranked etc) 30 secs is not a long * time. Not to mention you can throw down his ultimate giving to bonus defence during a tough spot whilst you revive quickly (should really only be lifelines trait). He takes 15% less damage. A full clip of a r99 with purple after breaking his shield will deal 216. Basically you have to have a purple clip to 1 clip him if he’s got purple or higher. Can’t even 1 clip him with red evo with his shield up (unless a lot of headshots) tell me how that isn’t op. Now on ranked kings canyon...finals circles, there arnt hidden spots lot of the time coming down to 1v1s. You almost always lose 1v1 to a Gibraltar of the same skill levels because of his shield.
