This is a topic that streamers have picked up recently, they do this every season, and usually get what they want. They complain about caustic, he gets nerfed. They complain about ranked, it gets tailored to them. Now they have chosen to criticize the golden knockdown, a fundamental game changer in a battle royale. It allows you too resurrect yourself for the ultimate comeback. Usually it’s useless, as you get fully killed before you can pull it off. But when a squad leaves and you get the chance to live again, and a shot at the win, that is an unforgettable victory. It offers honor in a fight, it’s the final ring, and your entire team is dead, and you are down, the enemy team allows you to self rez. You then get to engage in a punching match, creating a happy ending to a game for all parties involved. Sometimes you can win in the final ring, just by having a golden knockdown. Can you really destroy a part of gameplay that has proved vital in freshening gameplay and creating exiting and intriguing moments. My question is more than just why get rid of the golden knockdown, a cornerstone of apex, but why listen to streamers when listening to the community can help you actually improve the game. Instead of making it easier for streamers to pull off a win.

If you don’t have the best place in the ring, you have a higher risk of dying, in other words, if you can’t play the game, adapt to it, don’t try to set it to easy mode.
