Got banned saying I was using a 3rd party cheating application
I have been playing Apex for almost half a year since season 1. When I played again, I grinded rank for almost the whole time I played apex. But after not playing for 3 weeks, I decided to open my account and when I got in a match. It said that I was banned although I do not know what the cause of it is the only applications that I could think of present would be buff, overwolf and Vanguard. Does anyone know what else could be the cause of me getting banned for no reason? If I had a cheating software wouldnt it also apply to vanguard as well? If I decided to also spend some money on the game a few weeks back and saw this I would've probably decided to not even play any EA games knowing that this could happen and I wouldve wasted the money I had earned.
- @AKKUKINSHRIMP Hey there, Sadly this is not something that the forums can assist you with. Only the terms of service team can look into this concern and access this information. As for possible third party program I can not say what could cause something to flag the system there are tons of programs out there that it would be needle in haystack. All you can do is file a ticket with them.
If you can though are you able to log into the account to the lobby and check your season stats? See if your highest kills or damage has changed from the last time you played? If they have changed I highly suggest setting up 2 step and all other security measures in place to secure your account. Even if they have not changed i still recommend it for the future.
