Ohh just sitting here watching streamers with 5k + viewers who are dragging their mouse a solid 7 to 8 inches at times for simple movement yet when they fire a gun it stays 100% still no recoil pattern being done on their mouse in fact some had it on very very bottom of mouse pad where if they was to even drag down it would come off the pad. But i guess this is legit game play pro's? Makes me sick
Just read a bit of this thread. I played my fair share in Season 1 and then came back recently here in Season 5. What I'm reading is really worrying if that's true, and I tend to think it is, because so many games I had people just erasing me and my teammate 2v1 in a few instants with a high RoF weapon while when I'm shooting with it the spread goes everywhere even with a good stabilizer. Of course I realise the difference between my skill and the skill of veteran players, no arguments, but getting hit by EVERY SINGLE BULLET from at R301 or R99 at 80-100 meters is not normal and it's happening really often. I can tell the difference when people just use their skill as there's a lot of stray bullets and the fight feels fairer and more fun.
I didn't know there were scripts or macros or whatever to do that and that's really disgusting if it's true. This is cheating, end of discussion. Been seeing a few "pro gamers" having laser-like weapons too, and to think naive me believed they just learnt the recoil patterns or something (I'm no expert).
@EldritchElvis not to mention that there's quite literally random recoil for R301, R99, and Flatline. It's nigh impossible to hit every shot because of it. 3x optics on R3 and Flatline have become super popular now because it's much easier to re-sight your target once the random recoil kicks in, not to mention the fact that on R301 the randomness can literally bump your shot in any direction.
The main thing is recoil kicks hard if you aiming at further distances. R99 with 2x scope in a long distances kick really hard.
Go try with Havoc on 50 or 100+ meters.
Yet most streamers that barely used Havoc, are lasering with it, on any range, without missing a shot, which is impossible. If you somehow manage to keep the firsts shots, you are going to underaim and miss the target with the next ones.
Just accept that most people are using it, esp in ranked 90% is using some kind of a soft-cheat.Got a teammate today with 30k + kills, and he was cheating.
Apex is a lost cause when we are talking about cheaters. I though they would do something in season 5, because in S4 was insane, but now its actually even way worst.
I quit Apex weeks ago after tirelessly trying to raise more awareness of this issue, only to find an alarmingly large demographic of players online claiming it doesn't exist, or that I need to get gud, etc.
Just popping back to check the progress on the issue, and am extremely saddened but totally unsurprised to see that still, no one with authority gives a single flying * about it.
Such a shame. This was my favourite game for a long time, but now it's been completely shelved.
Just watched the "girl" streamer, she literally hipfiring at 10-15+ meter without missing a shot, and no recoil whatsoever.
That girl is using all kind of cript/macros and i`m like 10000000% sure in that.
- @LordloshBang It's all I ever see, and all I ever saw in-game. I'm glad (in a weird way) that it's now so big that everyone else finally sees it too.
- @littlxr I am glad its getting more responses as the player base will speak and be heard this way. After soo many reports of players having these problems they would be foolish to not take action or find ways to block.

And fair game play across the board. Just watch her shooting and most importantly her hipfire.

E9ine_AC, they don`t care mate. They won`t do anything, otherwise they had to ban 80% of the streamers. As far as soft cheaters and hard cheaters, ShivFPS is screaming every single day on his streams(he is one of the most watched streamers) about the cheating(and he is only speaking about hard ones that are obvious), yet Respawn are doing nothing, when this is hurting them big time, did you think they will care for people that complain in here, when they don`t care where top streamer like ShivFPS is saying RANKED is infested with cheaters and Respawn are doing nothing in front of millions and they still do nothing ????
So let me ask you again, did you think they really care about cheating ??? They can`t fix the hard cheating problem, and we want them to fix the soft cheating and macros/scripts ....Ain`t happening.
At this moment it will be better to stop losing time in this forum and just wait for a better BR title that will come soon, because i`m very sorry to say it, but Apex is a lost cause.
- @LordloshBang They may not care but this also shows the players just how people have the advantage over people and be god mode. They also wont comment updates on it but it would be nice to even be noticed. I dont want to be noticed i want this big problem that pages upon pages of players expressing their concern.
While i get your mind set and im there also on bad days and highly upset how a company who at one time had 70 million players dropped to 1m active online at this time. Sure some may not of liked it or the mechanics of it and went to other games. But the drop of 69 million people should have this company wondering how when and why. A business man who has been in the industry i truly understand the loss of revenue even on free to play game that leaves a huge dent in. Me if i owned the company id be digging deep into why 99% of my players went leaving only 1%. I wonder if that has even dawned on them sometimes =/ - @LordloshBang That better BR title is Fall Guys. Had more fun on Fall Guys in two days than I had on Apex in the last year.

So I'm getting the wins I deserve 🙂 @EldritchElvisThere are also controllers that have paddles that can lower or speed up your sensitivity mid fight like the razor wolverine with agile and focus which allow people to us super high sensitivites that even true pros can't play with consistantly without any muscle memory or fine control at all.
Edit: feel what this is like use the default setting and try to control the r99 then do it again on higher ads sensitivity.
- @Brandoblu69 Heh they can easily place a plugin inside the games patcher that when loaded scans cpu for xxx programs. They dont though as if they truly was serious about cracking down on it this is how i would do it. I dont mind Apex scanning my entire machine upon loading the game I have zero to hide.
This is also not me saying i want it banned or anything of sort but if you see xim is being used as example know they are cheating recoil mechanics and block that program. By blocking program i mean Apex wont even load at all if it detects this. Which easily can be done checking USB connections with a simple task bar check. - @E9ine_AC The issue is that the xim only allow for the binding of keyboard controlls to certain controller buttons and when mouse and keyboard inputs are recieved the xim sends the inputs to through the controller and can't be distingish from a regular controller. Its not a program its a peripheral and its not perfect as the controllers range of inputs are not infinite so like a mouse is so there is alot of work to adjust the settings.
- @Brandoblu69 Xim allows them to grant a mouse and keyboard aim assist. It tricks the pc it self into thinking the controller is the main source so the game follows that logic. When it reality it is the secondary source and mouse and keyboard are main. That combined with G-Hub or other mouse macro builder programs is instant god mode. And its hardly any work at all to do its pure public knowledge with hundreds of youtube videos how set both of them up in minutes.
Point blank if they are using Xim they are exploiting the systems mechanics to cancel them out. Personally I don't think cheats should be banned I think they should secritly be blacklists that way the only people the cheaters can play with are cheaters. Give em a taste of their own toxic medicine.
@E9ine_ACThe macros i would assume are mostly be used for looting, strafe spam, crouch spam, perfect sliding and b hopping. I guess you could use it for single fire weapons too but they have maximum fire rates so....
- @E9ine_AC well the aim assist is just a by product of the pc thinking its a controller it doesn't help that the aim assist on pc is 3 times stronger than on console.
The way that macros actually work makes them very easy to detect as with weapons like the G7 the program will automatically fire every so so many milliseconds as long as the fire button is held down a human being no matter how good they are will not be able to push the fire burn every 500 milliseconds without fail for example there will always be a few milliseconds faster or slower which means just by looking at the input the anti cheat software should be able to detect macros when it comes to recall cancellation it is exactly the same it will automatically apply x amount of downward movement players using this cannot pick up up things like barrel mods as this would alter the recoil calculations for the weapon interestingly enough in the recent armed and dangerous mode with shotguns and snipers only I saw no one who was noticeably cheating as their recall cancellation does not work on those weapon types

And even if they detect them easy. what? Will they ban 80% of the streamers? And all the watchers on Apex will be probably gone ....
And i`m pretty sure atm that probably 50% of the playerbase if not more are using some kind of cheats/macros/scripts.
Respawn should have act way earlier, now its too late, its a lost cause.

- @Brandoblu69 I highly recommend you to go watch some youtube videos just type in logitech recoil script and watch away. These macros are not for looting they completely cancel a games mechanic of recoil.
- @Hilshire12 There is no program other then G-Hub. If there are third party apps other then mouse programs chances are you will be caught. But with logitch g hub all you need is the scripts pull back and delays and such put into the macro and save it. Boom you have cancelled recoil. It is as simple as creating a macro to bunny hop just done with guns. That is what these devs fail to see or understand. Movement macros are one thing but when you abuse said macro to destroy a game mechanic that is called exploiting and according to the Terms of Service is a bannable offense. Yet these guys dont even get warnings. That is my problem.
Logitech gaming software is superior to G-Hub if using logitech.. been using logitech for 10 years now.. apex states that having preset macros on logitech settings can get you banned, but it's very fustrating for them because it's something logitech provides trough their own mouse input and they cannot distinguish what macros in the g-hub are used for
- @tziiware They should find a way before everyone else does it and the game becomes even worse with more accused cheaters. Which in reality if they cant even control their own recoil aim they are cheating for something to do it for them.
Player morals should show them its not right to do. But people no longer have morals instead want things handed to them easy mode. I have played this game 100% legit from the day it launched to now. I refuse to stoop to their levels because im better then that i have morals.
All i want is fair game play i want people having legit control their aim at 150 meters with their 99 the right way. Instead of aiming every single shot perfectly never going off course from recoil. People are good but no one is perfect. Recoil patterns are very easy to throw off on a legit player. Simply because we are having to controll recoil as well as track a moving player. These people only have to track the player. Imo they are complete garbage at the game to use this. Even those who add aim assist to their mouse and keyboard. If you cant play legit then go play easy mode game. Not a game that requires skill and you bypass that skill.
By the way not speaking to you in general just speaking in general. Bumping this problem. Maybe the new guy they hired for cheat team can read this post and see how many people have an issue with people completely removing the games biggest mechanic.
