Half controller and mouse
There needs to be a way to use haalf controller for movement and mouse for aiming I play all PC games this way and this game doesn't allow it.. Wish I could play it but as of now I cant

I got it to work. I use an Xbox Controller and a Mouse.
You have to get the steam overlay to work for this game. You might need to open Origins > Application Settings > Origin In-game > Disable Origin in-game
Add Apex to your Steam Library.
Go to Big Picture Mode and go Settings > Controller Settings > Enable Xbox configuration support.
Go to Apex and select Manage then Controller Configuration.
Delete/Remove every button. Apex now fails to respond in-game when pressing buttons on the Xbox controller
Open Xpadder and do your remapping (Control stick bids to WASD etc).
Optional: You can now go back to Big Picture Mode > Settings > Controller Settings > Disable Xbox configuration support.
I removed everything I could but Apex still registers the controller for some reason..
