Has aim assist improved?
Even though he's a beginner who just charges straight into the enemy camp, his aim never misses the target. From the outside, he looks like a cheater.
He's probably using a pad or something similar.
I'd like to know if regular keyboard and mouse players would enjoy playing against players who use cheat tools like that.
At least within my country's player community, there have been many complaints for a long time.
Even when shooting at dummies in the practice range, I miss less than half of the targets. Of course, if I shoot at the correct distance (about 20m with an R-99/CAR), I can finally kill them with one magazine.
At close range, the opponent is almost guaranteed to hit, and the TTK is less than one second.
There's no way we'll ever be on equal footing.
In ranked matches, you can fight at mid- to long-range distances, but in other modes, the opportunities are greatly reduced, making it unfair.
They say the aim assist has been reduced to 0.3, but from my experience of being killed by such players, it doesn't feel like much of a difference. I'm still getting brutally killed, just like before.
I almost certainly can't win in close combat, so I've significantly reduced my close combat engagements.
What's with this FPS game?
I understand that there's a pro league and they cater to the skill levels of professional players, but
EA should also consider the perspective of average players.
I previously fought a master player and lost, but the cursor was properly timed to match my left and right movements, so I didn't feel like I was being mercilessly killed by the system, and I still had fun even though I lost.
There's no need to adjust the assist system. Just provide an option to play with pad users.
That alone would eliminate the need to open the keyboard and mouse customization menu and have pad users interrupt you.
