@OldTreeCreeperThe problem with their argument is that they're saying, essentially, we're not doing a solo mode because we don't want to do a solo mode. The actual rationales are thin and easy to tear down. "Some legends are better than other legends in single play," tells me that you make each and every lobby "single-legend." You don't get to play "your" legend? Too bad. Wait around long enough and he/she/it will come up in the rotation. "Can't stop teaming," tells me that you stop trying and make it an actual game mechanic. "We always conceived of Apex as a team-based game," tells me that you re-conceive. It's all just lazy arguments that, to my conspiracy-tending mind, are there to mask the true problems of one vs. one gameplay, to which I alluded previously. Single combat makes it much easier to see everything that's wrong with the game - everything from weapon and motion mechanics, to sbmm, to cheating... the whole shooting match, no pun intended. And churn would go up and revenue would go down. It's far easier to hide flaws in the fog of team play.
