@papawolf4please do not talk in extremes - like every game is either no 3rd party case and you don't get any KP or if you do you get always 3rd partied.
What I see is that everyone in the lobby talks about fast easy KP in the beginning of the game, then maybe 3rd someone and then go to the end zone, which kind of is a fool-proof strategy of gaining RP.
Yet what happens in reality?!
People do not read rotations well and run into sandwiches or can't get out of the ring being gatekept or just purely die from zone damage.
People do not retreat when they still have a way out of the fight because what are we pu#$#%, say and fight like a man!
Many fights are just over-extended - people can't get a good angle or they just struggle to hit shots and they keep poking enemies for minutes, during that time you can easily cover 200+ meters and hear others fight and 3rd party that, if people would commit to quick fights or getting out of them as quickly they would have less risk of getting 3rd partied. But again many don't do that.
The worst thing I see in regards to rotating out of the fight are situations where you actually finish a fight somewhat on time, people call out that the 3rd party is coming in but what happens then...teammates keep looting death boxes because you will not leave the good stuff for enemies behind right...and many get lasered while looting or get surrounded badly with no escape route because of looting.
Plus in the end, there are 19! enemy teams, sure thing you will get into 1 vs multiple sooner or later, BR is no exception and before that in FPS games Free for all was even worse there in some games you could have 1 vs 20, 30, 40 people games with constant cases of being cross-fired from all possible sides.
If you don't want to have such experience, go play 1v1 or 1v1 team type of modes. Apex ain't one of them and you just have to learn this skill of navigating between 3rd parties, that's what makes Apex Apex not Warzone, CS or any other FPS shooter.
p.s. your mentioned fact that it is not easy with randoms - yes, everyone in Apex who have reached higher ranks knows that the higher you go (starting maybe even from platinum 3,2) the more of a success factor set party becomes = teams who play with the same players on regular basis has so much advantage and usually rank up much faster than people who play with randoms. Again just the specifics of this game which you have to learn to deal with.
