Huge lag spikes/Game freezing for multiple seconds

I’ve played this game on the original Xbox 1 from initial release until now and in recent months I’ve noticed I get periodic lag spikes right when I am about to shoot my gun at an enemy. I sit around 20-30 ping every game and notice no connection issues when it happens. It last from 1 to 5 seconds and when it does happen I lose the gunfight 90 percent of the time because I’m being shot at or missing all my shots without being able to do anything. It doesn’t happen every single time but at least once a game, regardless if it’s a 1v1 or there’s multiple enemies. It also happens when I land mirage voyage/ sorting factory and there’s a lot of fighting around me. I’ve ruled out it being my own connection due to my friends being on a significantly higher ping and them not experiencing these issues in the same game as me. I’ve tried to look up fixes but have found nothing but people on pc experiencing the same issues and it being their gpu load which from what I know can be fixed. Please someone help, I love this game but it is genuinely ruining my experience.
