@Anonymous I understand the frustration, but if you're breaking the ToS it's on you. You can't let toxic trashcans drag you down. They're trash people who will always be trash, that spew trash, and if there's any justice in the world will be treated like trash.

Don't give them the satisfaction of a response, mute them and let them scream into the void.

The ban on the EA account is because it's more effective than a simple mute. A simple mute people will just take because it's only a mute. An account-wide ban that accumulates is, as you mention multiple times, a much more scary concept when you've got tons of stuff linked to your EA account.

Because it's scarier, people might actually avoid doing things to get themselves banned, like being horribly toxic to you. Sorry to hear you got caught up in someone else's bad vibes though.
