I am just here to complain about loot boxes

I stopped buying EA games or giving money to EA because everything they have done lately has locked content that is core to a game hidden as DLC or in loot boxes. This happened with Star Wars Battlef...

Respawn made the game. EA are the publisher, you can't really complain when it's free to play. The cosmetics offer no competitive advantages. Battlepass should include new cosmetics, guns, characters etc, that's coming March and should be similarly priced to Fortnite.

    First of all, the battle pass will offer the progression you're looking for. This game just released, and it's not even at 'season 1' yet. Give it time.

    On the other points, if they had been selling this game I could agree with you. But free to play game of this level of quality, where you can earn the characters? You're getting more than your money's worth by not paying a dime. Crying over cosmetic micro-transactions in a game like this is basically just saying you wanted the whole experience for free. :/

      Hey man,

      Thanks for taking the time to read my post. 

      My issue isn't with charging for cosmetics, I love cosmetics and don't mind paying for them or paying money to support a game.

      My issue with the system is with the amount they value the items. 1800 apex coins is $25-30 dollars for a gun skin. That is 3 meal almost. I know the arguments counter but don't you think that is a lot to drop on one small skin? Sure it is a free game but this is NOT a mico transaction. That is quite a bit of money.

      I don't want the experience for completely free, I want to support the game and I want to feel like the game is more interested in my experience rather than my paycheck.

      Smaller values on items is my desire.

      Please let me know your feelings.
