It's not hard to accomplish: Use the gray dummy model for everyone, remove team oriented loot like knockdown shields from the pool, disable tactical abilities and ultimates. Boom, balanced solo mode, all RNG and skill to tip the scales.
- @EryxApex Its not even apex at that point, if you want a solo battle royal without different abilities there are plenty of those available.
@WesthebirdSo what makes the game is the hero abilities..? Because as some say, Apex is a team game, so solo is not Apex material...
Don't get me wrong, I want solo mode, even with all the flaws of balancing and stuff. My point is that the devs say it can't be done, even though they've already done it...No, wait, you're the anti-solo guy.

- @EryxApex My point is the different abilities are what makes apex unique, if you dont want to play with those then there are plenty of other games that do that. And the devs didnt say it cant be done, they said it wont be done.
