Same! Something doesn´t feel right atm.

Yupp, I only play solo Q and the only reason I got out of bronze is due to the 0 RP entry cost. Just based on the average level of opponents, I would definitly be hardstuck if the RP cost was like -30 or -40 in bronze =) I literally flew through silver and gold was pretty easy too.

@Balladalidila2 weeks later, I am Silver 2 and still rage quit after a few games most of the time. What you experienced is the same thing I experienced every season that I played everyday ranked... you had days where the skill was high you couldnt grind much and then after the best players ranked up you had a small window of opportunity where the skill was lower and you could grind quickly , finally.

This windows could last a few days to maximum a week. Then if you didnt play enough to rank up you would get new waves of high skill players hitting on you *s. Cause they ranked up so after a little while they start coming back on their smurf to help friends.

Same old story except I dont play as much as before so I just rage quit there is no way I am gonna play mostly bad games in what is supposed to be a similar skilled rank experience.

That is so sad no wonder the game now is at 40% of its player base from its peak according to Steam numbers, it keeps declining.

There is a very good reason to that, their hidden Mmr didnt do anything for us, their fix to get us closer to 1kd either.

I now know for sure there is a big problem there as when I play other games I have good games. I played the alpha test for Delta Force Hawk ops, I had plenty of good games, good teammates, I had many 5 kill games even had a 7 kill game where I killed 2 platinum players and 5 gold players.
Same thing happen with Offthegrid beta test, I have kills and a good time.
Then I get on Apex which I have thousands of hours of play time; I know the game very well and I rage quit after a couple of 0 kill games where 4k badges or double Master badges high skilled player destroy us in 3 seconds. What the hell.

Yupp. If respawn cared about competitive integrity and too make the game a fun and competitive game for also less skilled players who cant play this game for every waking hours, they would boost players who do 2.5-4k dmg, 8-10+ kills in like bronze-silver out of these ranks asap. The ranked system is designed to keep players grind as long as possible each split

Seconded. I don't even like ranked but did it at the beginning of this season to escape from Revival. It was only a few matches and I never got out of ROOKIE, but there were no rookie players in any of the matches, I can tell you. It was as if there was no sbmm at all, just the first sixty people who queued up thrown into a truly random match. If I was actually new to the game I wouldn't have lasted a day.
