Currently PC controllers users get .4 and consoles get .6 aim assist in Apex Legends. If a PC player invites a console player into a PC lobby, the console player still gets the .6 aim assist in PC lobbies.I think console player's aim assist should lower to .4 while in PC servers.So a console player using Seer on console invited into PC lobbies is looked at by me as radar hacks with .6 aimbot. I say radar hacks as Seer is basically just that (i'm not implying consoles are physically cheating).

Is someone going to tell him or should I???

Besides that, the ability to disable cross-play on console is just a pseudo-option. You are not going to find games if you turn it off. And I mean that literally.

Console aim assist isn't what you think it is. If you see a console cheater, it's someone using strike packs, xim, scripts, etc.For example, xim tricks the console into thinking a mouse and keyboard is a controller. Combine that with the given aim assist, and one could call it broken.

This game is suppose to be crossplay ... it is and it is not. PC accounts PUG with other PC accounts. I have yet to see any console players (other than my friends) in a PUG with me.Consoles are not using hacks to the best of my knowledge. PC's might be using scripts and other cheats, if they are, they are only cheating themselves of an honest win. If you are a PC player able to match with console, I would love to know how you are doing that trick yourself?

Also PC player: "aim assist is too OP. How could my inferior M&K compete with what is basically an aim bot???"
You people need to hold a meeting, pick a narrative, and stick with it. Im serious, either M&K is superior or its not.

But cheaters, strike packs, macros, aim cheats, wall hacks not the priority problem.

First, you need to stop taking things out of context just to satisfy your own beliefs. Watch the YouTube video from the start and it clearly states the detail about aim assists and all of the findings can be found at the reddit page named, "Comprehensive Breakdown of Aim Assist: How it works & all related arguments".

What do you mean by, "We" in, "exactly how we feel playing PC"? You must be playing in some very remote area on earth because I witness many consoles willing to venture into PC lobbies in Apex Legends.

Played 5 games, 3 had console players (on my team), and one was on the champion squad. You have to be either super naive and/ or extremely biased to think console players care about mouse & keyboard players that much. I know I didn't care when I played my Xbox Series X and/ or original Xbox One in PC lobbies.

Also this continuation of some arbitrary disadvantage argument needs to stop, like really. If someone (like me) picked a controller to play with, I'm not going to blame anyone else that I choose to use it.

Also, unless you physically play with a mouse & keyboard yourself, you can't know of the challenges that it takes to use said input device. Your argument of people having access to something doesn't automatically make them professionals, it just gives them access to something.

Most people have access to the internet, but you don't see everyone becoming Albert Einstein. We still have people that believe the earth is flat. My opinion stands, aim assist should be lowered to PC controller settings when joining PC lobbies. Consoles are not by any means rare in PC lobbies (CST US).

Warning, the pictures you're about to witness could be shocking and/ or downright disgusting that show consoles do exist, in PC lobbies. Viewer discretion advised.

@Popa2caps It's not out of context when I use his own words explaining his own logical conclusion about what his video shows.

I never said it's impossible to have consoles on Pc lobbies I said I never see any meaning it is very rare. You post 2 pictures there it could be 2 console teams upon hundreds of games.

@Popa2caps I know right? The option to disable it wasn't even in-game, I had to go into the Xbox settings. But even so, there was no point in it, as the game would simply not find any game. There was simply no practical use in it. So I wonder if that would have been the same for PC? But ok.

I might disagree regarding inputs. I also play both. I started with controller, then MnK some time later. And no matter how much aim assist is being complained about, I still totally prefer to play on MnK. Controller is just bad for me in every regard. That is just me I guess.

I also tried to disable cross-play on Xbox when it was released, but it took forever to get a game or never found one, can't remember. PC would be a totally different story though. I think most PC players would disable cross-play if given the chance and Respawn knew this, so decided to remove it.

Why else wouldn't the PC have the option?

Respawn knew most consoles having cross-play on by default was enough to make it kind of pointless to disable, but they couldn't do the same on PC, they had to force it. Either consoles joining PC lobbies get the same aim assist like PC controllers users or they get the option to disable cross-play altogether.

I honestly foresee a ton of improvements once Warzone 2 gets released.

@Popa2caps while I still do not understand the complaints about AA on controller, I definitely agree that the option should be there, regardless of whatever reasons. And it better be functional as well. Honestly I could not believe that I was the only one in the que for like forever, after I disabled cross-play. Like seriously, was I the only one playing on Xbox? I doubt it. So that is why I assumed that, even if the option was there for PC, I doubt it would have been actually functional.

Just wanna confirm as a Nintendo Switch player, No we do not disable crossplay. Unless we're in japan/tokyo servers, we play with crossplay on.
