I don't earn much LP points like my duo in ranked
I was having this issue after finish the first 10 placement matches that i don't get that much points i supposed to earn after finishing a good match
for example:
I won a match with 12 kills and 2 assists
I get around 250 points
And my friend get 2 kills and 1 assists
And he gets around 400 or 350 points
And we both in the same rank sliver 1
Every game we Queuing together he get too many points then me idk why i need fix for this even in this points i supposed to be in gold 3 or 2 if i don't have this issue
@mrGhost9191The rank system calculates each player differently from what I understand. As with arena's rank system, being better then your teammates gets you less points because the challenge presented in the match to you isn't as challenging as it was for your teammates.
The best way I can explain that, is if we pretend skills and such is based on your character's level, (like a MMORPG). Let's pretend you're a level 70, with teammates who are a level 30, and 45. The "boss" is a level 64.
The level 30 will get more experience for defeating a 34 level difference boss, than the level 45, who helped defeat the boss with a 19 level difference. You're (in this example), stronger than the boss, and while it will still give you a reward, its not as great since you weren't challenged enough. It would be the same thing if you were level 60.
For Apex, that's a bad system because it means that you can rat, avoid fights, be bad at the game, and you will get rewarded more than if you actually tried and put forth any effort.
