Casuals = players that are not able AND willing to put in time to get good yet they feel entitled to and cry about it. Plus for some or another reason play competitive mode = ranked, don't get far there because they don't work on their skill, yet they complain that the problem is the concept of competitive mode, sweaty players that do not allow them to enjoy ranked mode.
Clear example is this original poster who basically expects to run into similarly skilled player with RE45 and win 1v1 vs say Spitfire or Turbocharged Havoc... I mean go fight a tiger or a bear with that attitude :)
Bear / lion might be extreme example but better one from real life is e.g. GYM - people with big egos come into GYMs every day and they think they will be the biggest and baddest around, lift heavy weights. What most end up? Broken from trauma or switching to steroids = pretty much what Apex is (broken = low level casuals crying about trauma / steroid users = pros/streamers/hackers).
Loved the gym analogy. Very true.
Though I have to say that I never got from NickBeam27 that he expected to get to Master with nothing more than an RE45. Maybe I mis-read.
And I will also add this: casual players are 95% of the game. Or at least they were. The people you describe who spend thousands of hours aim training... sure, I applaud their... what would you call it? Insanity? Tenacity? Their complete inability to understand the concept of diminishing returns? Their lack of a real job? But in the end they're still a very small percentage of players. Who should the game be built around? The sweats who pretty quickly become (or become indistinguishable from) cheaters, or the "casual" everyday weekend warriors? Pretty sure I know how you would answer that question. And I'm equally sure I would argue with you on the point. But I'm wandering way off topic. Ignore me.

I as a person who usually plays only 1-2 games if at all (depending on free time hours) and do that for a long time e.g. Apex since 2017?. Always have had attitude - if it do something, I do it for 100%, rather than play like 5 games in parallel just to click aimlessly in different visual scenarios.
My typical grind routine lately has been:
- coffee or green tea a few hours before grind to just switch my brain into FPS speed, make sure I can focus my attention
- 30-60 min aimtraining purely to see what are my actual reaction speed / aiming precision as it varies a lot based on life situations, days I am having. Sometimes after my aim training I just decide that I am too slow / too shaky and skip grinding, just switch to other things or random single-player games I have as plan B
- grind usually just one game (in case I play say Apex and Valorant in parallel), I guess I never played both on the same day as they require in this particular case two totally different mechanics. Grind = 4h+ sessions, in most cases no breaks
And I guess my main point and approach always has been = I don't complain like COMPLAIN about anything except cheaters and major game bugs.
Same applies to comments about casuals = it was clear to me that Apex from when I started contained most of those + what I see majority of player base even in ranked are either <20 yo or totally mentally unstable approx 30 yo = basically people who will not use their brains much and will be totally inadequate in communication because their brains just can't process comms and game at the same time / they lack communication skill.
I can state it as a problem yet I accept that while casuals keep complaining like in this case not able to play re45... I mean if you are casual stop aiming at sweat or even more so pro level, you are casual and always will be 50+% less competitive, able to reach results.

EDIT:
Sorry Recon, I felt I needed to clarify my final statement. To you I meant "thank you" sincerely
To Karen, I meant - We all know now, HOW you feel about them (casual players)
