New accounts spawning is a very common problem for free games. Once they had to pay bucks for making a new account they'd have stopped making.
This is going to sound a little scummy, but what about queue separation based upon ownership of the battle pass?
It'd create the pay wall necessary to keep most cheats at bay, while not completely abandoning the free to play model.
It'd also motivate legitimate players sick of encountering cheats to invest in the game.
As the battle pass rewards make it self-funding (for the moment), it wouldn't be criticized too harshly for being a subscription service.
Downside is it'd demotivate Respawn's efforts in fixing the cheating epidemic.
- @TheJumpingJawa Invest? I have put over 1 grand in 5 months time into the game. I also being a game creator,coder,designer,programmer have also told them quite a lot ways to bypass the cheats and build logs for them to stop them and how to stop them. No one listens no one responds no one asks questions. How much more should I have to invest to not play with cheaters? I truly * love this game it is by far the best shooter I have ever played in over 30 years. Doom and Duke Nukem being my first games. Now I am 1 person out of around lets say on the very small end from its recorded 70 million players at peek to say just 20 million today. If i have dropped 1k in 5 months time how much more have 20 million put in with absolutely zero results?
