@Sylvester9991I mainly just left because Fortnite has Solos and other modes like Team Rumble that allow you to do your own thing while Apex is strictly Team Based, I still have been logging on apex to do my dailys but that’s about it because last season I solo dropped constantly to get my weekly challenges done but this season im just focusing on dailys and will worry about weeklys if I still need them to finish the battlepass later on If there was an option to queue solo by selecting no fill in the lobby I would definitely play the game more but currently I would rather play other games and only log on apex whenever I actually do want to play as a team which isn’t often tbh but I do like to play some trios sometimes
The New Missions are actually pretty fun to do solo though and test them out as different legends but its just not as fun as dropping in solo vs duos or solo vs trios like I was used to, ya I didn’t win many games solo but I had alot of fun wiping other teams by myself as the kill leader and just practicing to get better but now im rusty as hell on apex again... I may do great 1 game then the next 3 im trash and when Im trash I would rather be alone to do my own thing until I get used to the gun mechanics again
the only other thing that bothers me is having about 300k legend tokens... but its not as big of an influence for me playing less as the lack of solos is
All of these are interesting, I have never ran into these problems but it’s me so it could happen soon.

I don`t see why anyone could cry about a MTX and they being costly. They are not needed, if you don`t like it or don`t want to give the money, don`t do it. No one makes you.
The game is *snip* free, so for what exactly you are crying? And this is not and RPG, aka POE, Diablo, this is FPS battle royale game ...
And you can actually get almost everything by just playing the game, and you do not need to spend anything on the game.I couldn`t care less giving a money for skin, etc, i will do it to support this great game actually.
As far as new content, what exactly expect from a totally free game actually ? And this is FPS after all. We get new things every new season, so i still don`t get the crying for that, but people going to complain no matter what.I never ever have problem with bugs in this game, maybe very few times get killed by door or such *snip*.
The main problem is the server, the lag/delay and if they fix this and its running like CS:GO for example it will be perfect.
The other main problem is the *snip* cheaters, Respawn actually needs to do something on that.
As far as leaving the game, people actually quit mostly because they are not that good at the game, and they want to become good in like a month or so, and this game is just too complicated and the skill cell is too high. You not only need mechanical skills, but to actually use your brain, and your decision making are big part of the game.
To me Apex is still N1 BR game on the market, the movement is untouchable and i hope the game stay alive for long way to come.
EDIT by EA_Jason: Don't curse or swear. Don't try to get away with it by using symbols in place of letters, too. We all k*** what you're trying to s**.
- 6 years ago@LordloshBang Look if you think this game doesn’t generate a ton of money you are sadly mistaken. They take it in and speaks very little of it to maintain this game. You sound like a fanboy shooting his mouth off cause you like the game. I like the game but be realistic really. Absolutely free pffft.

I think this question can be broken down a bit more simple.
Reasons People are leaving Apex
Slow Development
- Updates only seem to happen at new Seasons
- Each season takes 90 days? I don't want this to be FortNite, but Fortnite has massive updates every month or two. So its a fair comparison.
- Very few new skins
- We have never gotten a new execution added to the game
- Little to no lore/story (Although this last season started to add a little)
- There's barely been any changes to game modes, or rotation of unique game modes
Boring Development
- The battle passes have been extremely boring, containing mostly legend banners/trackers
- Example: One of the seasons just moved around the giant monsters in King's Canyon, although never doing anything interesting with them
- Took away fan favorite Skull town, instead of creating reasons to go elsewhere
- When Apex did a bunch of new skins, that one time, it was unreasonably expensive, and almost impossible to obtain otherwise.
- If they developed Lots of new things, with a reasonable price tag, EA/Respawn would make more money, and keep the game feeling fresh.
Toxic Culture
- There's little to no incentive to be a good team player
- Random players tend to fly off on their own, get angry, and leave the match when they fail to solo an entire squad
- There's no system to reward teamwork
- Toxic culture makes Ranked matches miserable
Matchmaking
- I believe a lot of the complaints with matchmaking (on PC) come from fairness issues (See next point) The rest come from toxic culture.
- Aim Assist on PC is extremely over powered. It makes bad controller players aim like above average keyboard/mouse users. This makes matchmaking feel unfair, and inconsistent.
- There's very little incentive to try to rank up, no impressive rewards, skins, etc.
Hackers/Aim Assist
- The amount of cheaters seems to be lower than season 1-3, but they are still there.
- Aim Assist on PC is extremely over powered. It creates a feeling of getting killed by aimbots quite frequently which is extremely off-putting for average keyboard/mouse users. (Yes I put this twice.)
I want to finish by saying I personally see a ton of things Apex did right this season. Gun balance, most of the map changes, map rotation, Mirage improvements, etc.
But the issues above are just massive glaring issues.
Apex has the core of an incredible game, and does a lot of stuff extremely well. But people expect more development from a game like this.
If EA/Respawn hired on 3-4 times the development crew, and kicked things into high gear, Apex could be thriving for a long while to come.
- 6 years ago@4ccbf460f7b926b1 I did a little research and what I found is not good. From the release of the game until now they have only added a few new legendary skins to the game [ 5-6 for guns and legends ], I was even told that some of the weapons on the new skins were from an old event and have added them to the game because they have no new ones. [I'm not 100% sure if that's because I haven't played since the end of season 1].
People will say what you want for $10 but
70% of battle-pass is full of trackers and background images and at the end two legendary skins for the same weapon. Jesus just give people two legendary skins for two different weapons.
I don't want to mix games, but have you seen what it contains "CoD" battle-pass? for the same price $10 - very good skins for operators, guns, charms, emblems and etc.
I don't know, but the game's designers aren't doing very well. - 6 years ago
@4ccbf460f7b926b1Aim assist is op on pc with weapons like the R-99 but it dosnt instantly make you a apex predator by simply picking up a controller its not like it aims for you, ive actually never gotten over 2k damage before ive been really close though... 1963 :/ I was really close lol im still kinda pissed I would of made it but I ran into a team camping on a shelf in bunker my point is it dosnt just automatically give you the aim of a higher tier mouse and key player who can get 2-4k damage badges all the time controllers still require skill to master
