@Baws_FredgyNew smurfs are what you want to address. An "old smurf" is no longer a smurf.
Honestly? Not sure.
SMURFING is when a highly-skilled player creates a secondary account as a disguise to play against less proficient opponents. This almost always results in the Smurf steamrolling their lower-level adversaries, which might be hilarious for the better player but usually leaves their victims bitter.
It doesn't matter if the 2nd account is a new or old account. As long as he remains a low level on it, it's called a smurf.

@Baws_FredgyYou don't remain low level for very long though. That's why I asked if you have ever done it. Go make one. See how it goes.
What's the difference between someone who didn't play for season, comes back as a bronze vs a second account starting the same level? It's going to be the same thing.
Yes, but so, if the entry level is higher, it already takes out the part of the new smurfs, definitely a good modification already. Then still need to find a way how to work on the old smurfs.
It can always happen that a high skilled player took a break. I'm just trying to find out if the is a way to reduce it to a minimum by making it less easy to smurf 😊😉
I mean, if it's only that time a high skilled player took a break and you won't get ambushed by a bunch of smurfs every 2-3 games, it would already be a big improvement.
