I'm so disgusted by this game

Plat 4 lobby, champions are Apex Pred. The team I just got killed by is ranked 16, 37 and 571 in the world. Not only that, me and my team werent even moving around and this same pred team literally c...

@Benchwarmerbrew Never faced any Preds when I was climbing Plat, then again, I haven't played for the last week.

Next season they will be ranked ''Master'', so at least you'll have a new shiny rank badge to enjoy the sight off after getting obliterated by the pro's :D

I got matches all the time with preds while in plat on my other account. Respawn doesnt know how to balance a game

    I am going to assume diamond lobbies are pretty empty. I know I stopped playing ranked in diamond because of the constant barrage of predators in every game. If trying to make the climb to diamond I feel for you. Since it is last weekend I am sure there are plenty of preds trying to climb the ranks. Me I just gave up trying diamond. Predator games without the cool badge.

      What's happening in ranked is precisely what SBMM will cause in casual too; if you match predators against just diamond, diamonds will simply stop playing.

      If you drive away diamond-tier, the burden of playing against predators then falls upon platinum. Repeat.

      It's a classic runaway cascade failure scenario, and it's going to cause the death of Apex.

      The only solution I believe in, is no match making; that way the burden of the predator population is spread amongst the entire population of the game.

      Another less desirable approach would be to reduce the effect of the high skill ceiling weapons, abilities & combat mechanics, and increase the impact of luck dependent aspects.

        @TheJumpingJawa honestly this seasons Predators are just last seasons diamonds, plats and even some gold, with the way everyone is force quitting its so easy to get to pred. I got to diamond the first month where there was a few preds in all my cues climbing through the ranks. I took 2 months off for a new job came back and now there is 18,000 predators, no where near as many last season.

        If there was any reason to feel predator isn't worth the grind it is that. I mean you can solo que to predator alone. That's a problem. Also Diamond cue now is 150-200 people in my area around Dallas in the evening. If it takes me a while its probably because im solo queing and getting paired with plats playing with diamonds
