In a game where aim is the most important? We have aim assist.
A competitive game where aim is literally everything. You're giving people 60% This is actually embarrassing.

@Android_Nana Not at all! Controller players shoot really bad with 60% aim slowdown. Most controller players don't want to play in PC lobbies because they get really mad at how they get shot by 90% of players with almost perfect mouse aim.
Totally agree with this. MOST players on controller, from below average to semi-high skill will be a worse Apex player than the skill-wise counter part on M+K. There is a reason why you see so few controller players in PC lobbies (pretty much only some premade cross player from time to time). Bottom line is IF controller with the aim assist was so OP, more amateur players would take advantage of this, which they evidentially dont!
What people who complain about controllers aim assist compare to are the top tier of controller players who are INSANLY good at it to a point where they are almost up to par with their counter part top tier M+K players on movement and aim.. So only at the top elo will aim assist be a competitive problem. Thats why we see the pros talk about this issue in the highest elo competitions. But that issue is not relevant for us, casual players.
Honestly, I think the best solution would just to have M+K lobbies only and controller lobbies only. It would simple be the easiest solution for everyone since I dont think the demand to play on controller in PC lobbies is that high that its worth the troubles it brings.. But to say that you suddenly become OP only because you pick up a controller is so false. So why dont you do it then? I tried and couldnt even run in a straight line =)
Coming back after a 6 months break after Seer broke the game, then Ash, and the first death I encounter was done by console. I mean it's starting to really get annoying. Intentionally took a break to calm myself down a bit and take a bit of a distance from the game so I can freshen up my opinion. But out of all ways to go, this had to be the one. Close-range encounter with a controller player, where aim assist is the strongest it seems.
I am born in 1991 year. I remmember the time when PS1 came out (there were no Xboxes and other consoles besides SEGA, ATARI etc etc). People since then try to make "Aim based" games for consoles and let me tell you... that my dear friends is a COMPLETELY FUTILE ATTEMPT to sell a given product to a group of... how to say it without provoking anybody... to a group of "not so experianced G-A-M-E-R-S". Plain and simple - AIM GAMES are M-E-N-T to be played by M-O-U-S-E and K-E-Y-B-O-A-R-D. Period. Ever since Blood 2: The Chosen, Counter-Strike 1.6, CoD 1, Medal of Honor, *insert 100 games that todays.... "people below 20 years old" havent even heard of*. ANY debate over this is plain and simple completely pointless. Its like saying that a Donkey is faster than Ferrari. The Black is really White. Well it is not. Plain and simple.
