In response to EA's feedback department regarding Apex Legends Season 20 segment

I am writing to address an issue I encountered during Season 20 of Apex Legends. According to the official game rules, rank rewards are to be given based on the highest rank achieved during the season. This rule was implemented after the Season 19 update and clearly divides the season into an upper and lower half.

However, due to an update mistake by Respawn Entertainment on April 6th, not only was the first half of the season inadvertently extended, but it also resulted in data loss. More seriously, the studio issued a notice after the end of the first half of the season, stating that this season's rewards would only be based on the final rank. This decision clearly contradicts the previous rules and causes significant injustice to the players.

During the first half of the season, I spent over fifty days climbing the ranks and ultimately reached the top 400. Despite also reaching the Master rank in the second half, the end of season rewards only acknowledged the Master tier. Given that the first half of the season was nearly twenty days longer and involved over a thousand matches, competing in it was significantly more challenging than in the shorter second half. Therefore, dismissing the achievements of the first half based on a temporary notice is profoundly unfair.

In light of this, I respectfully request that your department reconsider this matter and reissue the rank badges based on the highest ranks achieved in the first half of the season to ensure all players' efforts are fairly recognized. This is not only a recognition of the players' efforts but also crucial for maintaining a fair playing environment and trust within the community.
