Disagree, the EVA-8 is fine. It's a shotgun, is meant to be strong in CQC. The peacekeeper could do with a slight range nerf, statistically the R-99 and the R-301 are two of the best guns in the game. The gun balance is good in Apex Legends, a better approach would be to buff the underpowered weapons like the Mozamweak, Longbow etc.
@Neil_Enbob Considering PK has 110 DPS (one shot per second) if you land all pellets and EVA-8 has 126 DPS (2 shots per sec at 63 damage per shot) if you land all pellets, that shouldn't be a thing. No weapon comes even close to that DPS in the game beside maybe longbow or wingman with skull piercer and if you ONLY land headshots which requires a lot more skill.
Also, while both R-99 and R-301 are great weapons for their respective categories, the other 2 SMGs and ARs are barely used for a reason.
I really enjoy the playstyle of SMGs but they are simply all subpar to a PK or EVA-8 atm.
