Some folks have posted that solos promotes camping and I'd have to agree that's the case when playing to win. I'm guessing many play solos to enjoy the battles and could care less about the W so there's still plenty of scraps to get into for the more aggressive players.
I like the idea of solo mode but I think the number of players should be cut to 40 or whatever. Just can't heal enough after a battle before getting wrecked.

Game modes amazing and everything but I do feel that sometimes after I die, its in a very disappointing way.
For example: Game start > I land and someone else lands with me > we both pick up guns > we begin to shoot eachother > I die. Game end.
And the way it ends isn't too fun, for some reason I feel it should end differently. Even when I manage to kill them first, it feels easy and dull.
I suggest all players start off with one gold KD shield so that they get another chance in case they can't find a gun (because we all know of times that happens) or to turn fire away when 2-3 people decide to focus on you, because once you're knocked, they won't spend more time on you and will focus their aim on the other enemy. Giving you another fighting chance.

@iBlockHead Honestly i prefer the fact that you just die, the amount of knockdowns i get in a squad game that i'm unable to finish due to ranging issues (i snipe a lot, and when theres a lot of cover...well you get the picture)
Or interference from other squads makes it a real pain.
At least on solo if you get a kill you know they aint getting back up 9/10 times. I'd have no arguments with an increased distribution of gold knock downs throughout the map, but self reviving should remain a luxury in my opinion. 😛

@xxkjb22xx I agree, it's hard to get in a scrap and survive when multiple players around. Someone mentioned, IIRC, everyone getting Gibraltar's dome after a kill, then @@MandatoryIDtag mentioned a tweak to legendary passive (another post) whereby the shield is automatically regen like 25% after each kill vs fully regen after a finishing move which would rarely happen since few have gold KD (unless everyome is equipped from the start like @iBlockHead mentioned).
I agree the quicker kills is nice in solos, took a little getting used to, although unsatisfying at times. Solos is a nice break from teams when it feels like you're in a bad horror movie and the guy just WON'T die (cmon Jason Vorhees, just die already!). Plus 3rd partying, it's inevitable, is tough to overcome leading to more campy type play style.
So how about a 25/50/75/100% shield generation after every kill and for every shield level?
It helps mitigate against the 3rd partying somewhat even if it were a 100% shield regen after a kill since it's likely you have lost health at that point esp when dealing with multiples.
It would help keep solos be less campy and a bit more fast paced for those of us who want to win whilest not being bored to tears 90% of the game vs those just playing to get into scraps and couldn't care less about the W.
There's probably a better variation or solution to help keep solos a bit less campy by helping with 3rd partying, but it's an idea anyways...
