Invisible Status for Steam version

I have very limited knowledge about making/fixing gamess but I am pointing out the communication between Steam and the game itself as the main cause. I do believe Respawn is the one who is in charge for that.

Lets say your assumption is correct, which channel should I use for the report? Steam (or valve) do not take any techincal feedback for games that they didn't develop. Check the support page for the Steam version by yourself. They only manage transactions on the game you purchased. Game bugs and issues are up for the developers.

@costsnothingHeh only steam devs can add this function. This feature is purely provided by steam itself. Respawn has zero control over their system and how it handles friends list. To apply what you ask for means steam devs would have to implement it which would be for every single game on steam as it all is linked. I do work in the industry myself but as far as I remember respawn would have nothing to do with it. Steam would need to implement. 

This feature is included with the origin patcher because they own the origin patcher. Steam is its own company that just provides advertisements and login servers. Steam has its own system handling friends lists.

I have the same issue. I installed Apex through Steam and linked my Origin account. Now, marking invisible mode in both steam & origin has absolutely no effect into Apex.

I can't believe you are actually telling this guy that this issue needs to be addressed to Steam. It's NOT the case, absolutely not.

This is an issue that needs to be addressed to Respawn. Apex is actually retrieving friends lists in-game and then doesn't care about the Steam friend list: this is where the issue is.
You can get a player status using the API. Don't tell me it is a Steam issue. If it was, all games would act like that, not ONLY apex.

By the way, even if you're right, even if Steam is missing a function, you, Respawn and EA are not doing your job correctly.

YOU are publishing your game on Steam, so YOU should be responsible to publish a game compliant to privacy laws.
Even if Steam invisible mode isn't working, marking our main account as invisible should do the trick, but it's not even the case: You can't tell me anymore that this issue is not an Apex issue itself. Apex just doesn't care about statuses of linked-account profiles: this is where the function is actually missing.

Steam is way older than Origin. Please don't tell me they have missing features that Origin actually has. Please don't tell me they are just an "ads and login company", it's just a joke to read that on the official EA's Answers HQ forums... At least, they have a public API xD
