Is Apex Legends desynchronized ?
Hi all,
1st. of all : this topic doesn't express a complain about anything, I just need to have a concrete reply to the concrete problem spotted here.
2nd. : I'm certainly a noob in-game but I'm not blind, neither stupid (at least, I think I'm not stupid ALL THE TIME).
3rd. : Apex Legends is not my first FPS that I'm playing.
I've noticed something in-game I can qualify as a desynchronization but I need confirmation/refutation.
Here is the problem with motion, picture & sound :
Is Apex Legends desynchronized ? Shot behind cover (YouTube's Link)
Honestly, it happens very often, I don't count videos about this phenomenom I share on Youtube.
It happens on PS4 like on PC, on Apex Legends like many others FPS's game.
Can you explain that to me please ?
By advance, thank you.
P.S. : Sorry for my * english, I try to make some efforts but it still sucks. Thanks.
- @n000b51 Yes, movement prediction and latency compensation in this game can be unfathomably slow, to the point where you're basically 2 seconds ahead of what your opponent sees, yet their hitreg is somehow spot on, and you get lasered halfway through popping a shield battery behind cover... The blame is on the matchmaking, which favors skill balance over low latency...
