Its a team game

This game is total *. the player base doesn't play as a team its everyone for themselves its a team game. No wonder this game is losing players.

  • @R1reaper121 So how do you imagine remedying the situation?

Fragment (cap city) was reworked and the loot allegedly lessened.
Promenade was removed and now we have containment.

To me these places are the biggest culprits of division among players, i.e. hot drop vs. not dropping hot.

What you enjoy will differ from others so what are suggesting the devs could do to motivate further teamplay?

I have some ideas, but I'd like to here you out more to see where your issues lie.

The "problem," if you want to call it that, is two-fold.

One: inexperienced players who just need to learn teamwork the hard way. Nothing any of us can do about that except use a mic and try not to be too hard on them. We were all there once.

Two: This is a complex game that accomodates multiple play styles. Everyone wants to win, but not everyone will agree on what's the best way to get to first place. And let me stop you before you say, "There is no road to the win except teamwork." Because that's very much untrue. The team may need to come together at the end, but getting to the end is often a lot easier (at least for me) if I don't run around trying to stop inexperienced players from making high-risk gambit after high-risk gambit. That's not my play style. If my teammates need to take a lot of risk then I'm not going to tell them they're wrong or foolish, but I'm also not going to die in 15th place because a four week player wants to chase down a fight on the far side of the circle with an imminent close.

Short version: teamwork may seem like the obvious answer, but just try getting three strangers to agree on anything these days. (And I'll happily give you an essay about all the things you can learn about this game when you solo.)
  • @R1reaper121 When all you see is cheaters, you'll lose interest. Legit players don't want to get curb stomped every game by aimbotters, wall hackers, etc.

The game not only needs a better anti-cheat, but it needs better security. There's more types of cheats in this game than most others at this point.

The day someone gets fly hacks, is the day its all over for the game, as all you would see is that cheater in the sky beaming the whole entire lobby. Before you ask about ammo and things of that nature, considering the fact that cheaters were able to spawn in armor, I don't think it would be a problem for them to spawn in a bunch of ammo. Hiding in buildings would be your only hope, but cheaters can also make bullets curve corners or go through walls, so good luck hiding, besides the ring will force players out of most buildings.

i totally agree with what your saying but it is also on the company to combat the cheater problem within the game. but we all know that isn't going to happen. I really enjoy this game been playing for 4 years. Like ranked is another story playing it but i agree we need something to change within the game ie the player base. treat the game as a team game and you will go farther

  • if you want to play as a team you'd better find 2teammates indeed.

and i think the anti cheat is working a bit better these days cause i see a lot of ppl getting ban in my pred lobbies , even had a lobby when the game started 5squad of cheater were banned lmao
