@BalladalidilaThat's been happening to me a lot. I would run up to bins and tap e to pick up a few things, and I would purposely skip one of the guns that I didn't want, and would pick up, (for example) an Alternator and a Wingman, and the game would just auto switch the Wingman out for a gun like the Mozambique that I only looked at on my mouse movement towards ammo or a healing item.
Yet after it forces the gun out of my hands, it refuses to respond to another tap and when I hold e to actually switch weapons, it would repickup the Wingman but then switch it back out for the Mozambique.
I've gotten killed so many times because the game thought I wanted to drop a fully kitted when looting ammo.
The issue mainly happens when I'm spam tapping e. I'm guessing with the lag and terrible servers, its never told that I've let go of e so many times and ends up considering the taps as a held action.
While on the topic of the pickup button, controller players really do need a separate button or method for reviving, reloading, etc. while next to doors. While I was trying out a controller yesterday, it was highly annoying trying to heal next to a door as the "press button to open" persisted even when I had turned my back to the door.

Always fun when this happens and all your attachments fly all over the place and your teammates pick them up haha.
Another example happens alot with zip lines, for instance in the area Dry Gulch on Broken moon where the horizontal ziplines leads to doors. I ride the zip line and jumps off towards the door and press to open it, the game think I still aim at the zip line and sends be back the same way a came, even though my video recordings clearly show that my client even tells me that I in fact am aiming at the door. The game even says "Press E to open" or whatever. I tried to loot a teammates banner from his loot box that was below a zip line and it literally took me 3 attempts because the game though my cursor was on the zip line, even if my video recording showed that I was aiming at the box and the client said "hold E to open"Often minor inconveniences (but sometimes not) but still proof that this game has no idea what every client is actually doing.
I think the reason why I get so much prediction error when I get shot is because then, the game MUST know my exact coordinates to be able to process the hit detection. Same when you run outside the circle. Have you noticed that the prediction error symbol even blinks in perfect sync with the damage tick? Same principle; when you take damage, the game MUST verify your clients coordination and match them with the servers so to speak and since your client always are out of sync with the server, this becomes obvious from the damage tick of the circle.

"While I was trying out a controller yesterday..."
Not to get off-topic here, but why the try-out? How did it go? And do you have any opinions to share on the infamous aim assist debate?- Midnight97462 years agoHero+@reconzero It felt different compared to previous seasons, while mouse and keyboard still rules over a controller, in some ways a controller just felt easier to use. Although actions like reloading or healing next to a door just opens the door instead.
I've talked more about it here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Feedback/S16-Aim-Assist/m-p/12546117#M104562
