- @Espadakillar692 they love reddit.......
- @Espadakillar692 I would rather have devs developing than wasting time in pointless arguments on this forum.

This is an issue that's across the game industry, not just Respawn. There's several reasons as for why Developers don't respond in forums or might not even use it):
[-] Developers don't know how to interact with gamers (i.e. arguing with people, letting emotions get to them, etc)
[-] Developers usually don't know how to sweep through forum threads/comments for feedback/interesting takes, struggle going through fodder/repeated comments, nor ask questions to get the feedback they'd really want.[-] Developers have data that isn't disclosed to the playerbase (and don't share some of it) and base their rationales around it and at times can act superior to the players using it (weird situation but happens...)
[-] Developers follow Top management direction, not what actually balances the game. (i.e. They know that one gun is broken and is ruining your games... but it generates a lot of activity/media around their game).
[-] Reddit is an easier platform since: 1) You only need to look at the most upvoted threads/comments, 2) Reddit upvoting/comment system promotes hive-mind thinking so positive/known comments will be at forefront, 3) find funny/entertaining stuff - E9ine_AC4 years agoHero+@xDarkomantis All feedback is reported to Respawn Devs. Bugs are forwarded to them as well. The EA forums Community Managers are devoted to passing important feedback or bug reports to proper channels.
These forums have also had the ideas for some of the LTM game modes we have seen in apex. Regular players who suggested a cool game mode and it was passed up the chain. So in a way they get the information they need without the drama that comes along with it. - @Espadakillar692 Developers don’t even look at the forums they only use Reddit

@E9ine_AC Yeah, that makes sense. I'd say interacting with the forums is more of a 'skill' that one needs to develop which unfortunately Developers don't have the time or patience for. Reddit is like a forum-lite in a sense.
