@Jeeha0 As I stated above - that could be upwards of 15 minutes, this would have a high chance of deterring people from playing altogether, causing the player base to shrink.

@xerosum What I meant is that you team might die before your timer is up.
There could be a timer when your banner i picked up that allows you to leave if nobody is going to a beacon.

Just last night I had one guy quit off the hop, the other guy quit after about 6 minutes (his kid wanted to play a game). I ended up getting to final two squads, solo - with 10 kills total. Is it fair to penalize those guys for 15-20 min? I don't even know if the first guy crashed or not.I am not proposal to wait for the full team to leave the game. I am all for having to wait 90 seconds for your banner timer to run out of time. It will be less than 90 seconds if your full team dies before the timer ends. The problem is that people can leave and enter another queue within seconds.

One of the main discussions on this topic. As mentioned here and there ^ and annoying as it is, penalties in a casual F2P lobby is probably not for the best. It should be reserved for the ranked lobby if/when we get it. I think that's fairly common practice these days.
