Leaving early or mid-game: when is it acceptable?

I want to talk about leaving and when people would consider it to be acceptable or not.

Basically, if I have a massive disadvantage, I will leave most of the time.  There have been too many sessions where my entire team and me couldn’t get a kill 7+ games in a row. Because of these experiences, I refuse to take part in something that’s going to completely waste my time. I might/will leave when:

- Not having enough teammates

- Having less skilled teammates and a very skilled champion squad

- Seeing a full premade triple predator/master squad when my teammates aren’t even close to that skill level

- Teammates choosing different locations on the map from the start (= basically the same as not having enough teammates)

- Teammates dying instantly after dropping and me not having a gun or bullets

- Toxic teammates

What do you think? Am I unreasonable or are you someone who leaves as well? From my POV, life’s too short to get constantly lasered by top 1% gamers.

@AreYouShivering If the lobby is way above our skill level, then the 2 other human beings in my squad you are referring to, are on their way to certain death. If we have zero chance of doing well, I would also encourage them to leave as well. Also, me leaving won't decrease their chances of winning since there wasn't any to begin with.

I understand your frustration but if my team doesn't stand a chance, then what's the point of staying in that lobby.
