Talking about new character concepts is fun, but the current state of Apex suggests that they should not be adding new characters. Resources (data capacity, effort, and funds) are finite. Unlike before, the player base is continually shrinking, and several structural issues have become apparent, leaving them no room for such endeavors.
Is this really the time to tend to the lawn in front of the house when criminals (cheaters and smurfs) are actively breaking in through the front door?
