Those skins would still be micro transactions lol. Personally I think it would be cooler if they made more in shop skins that are timed in the shop. If they released another knife skin in the shop (same punch animation just see the knife in running or maybe a custom animation but same damage?) for 30 bucks I bet they would make a boat load of cash. Right now the gun skins are pretty boring... they also need to make more shiney interesting skins

Unless Respawn/EA wanted to be known as the "dirty double dealers" by charging the sponsor and consumer. I mean I know EA isn't above it, but I think they're trying to stay hands off with this game.

Knives go for that much on popular games like this, if its cheap then its nothing to show off, you seem to really not want to spend money on a free game lol theres a reason they dont cater to that mind set. Free advertisement skins are fine... but enough is free as it is right now, all classes will be free they already are generous with giving skins that nobody should complain

That's presumptuous on your part to think I wouldn't spend money, or rather that I haven't spent money, on a free game. Aside from that, no one is complaining about the amount of what's free in this game. The point of this topic was to suggest something that I, personally, thought would be cool and fit into the game's narrative and world. If the devs do use an idea like this then they can charge for all I care, but the general idea was an interesting, and innovative, way to generate revenue aside from microtransactions.
