Let Us Disable Crossplay on PC

It is in the title. Please at least give us the option to play lobbies that have no console players in them, right now we are forced to put up with it. Or in the very least input based lobbies like controller only lobbies or MnK only lobbies.

Reasons to support: 

  1. Console AA is superior to PC AA on controller, putting controller players at a disadvantage on PC, especially those playing on 60fps because not everyone can afford expensive monitors.
  2. Console players have a high level of cheating using non detectable recoil scripting devices such as Cronus and Strikepacks, they are blatantly cheating without getting punished in PC lobbies. Because most console players are children Strikepacks end up being very popular Christmas gifts from parents who don't even know what it's for, furthering the problem.
  3. It is ruining the game for solo Q'ers. I have seen numerous examples of people getting a random duo PC player with a console teammate and almost every time the console player is dead weight, they have open mic because party chat doesn't exist between PC and console so these 2 people will be having casual conversations in your game alongside noise from their living rooms etc. This results in having to endure the noise or playing without coms.
  4. We do not have a choice whether we want to play with console players or not. It is unbalanced and unfair to everyone and should be a choice we get to make ourselves. Crossplay is a nice idea so friends can play pubs together but there is 0 competitive integrity with mixed lobbies.

    The only problem with it is that a lot of people had it enabled (back when it was in beta and forced console users but let PC players choose), and que times were much slower due to less people opting for their platform only. Hopefully with Steam and Switch players, it can actually work better.

    You've also said console players cheat with strikepacks and such, while that's true, PC players are no saints either, but it be nice to see no console players, cuz a lot of PC cheaters tend to que up with them. Can tell when there's two console on a team aimbotting with no recoil, and when you knock them down, the PC player starts acting like a god, using wall hacks and such.

    I don't know why you're even listing so many points, if console players can disable crossplay, so can PC players, full stop. Why does it need to be debated?

    If I had to add to it, I'd say that they have a fricking monstrous aim assist. It's an inch away from cheating. I, as a PC player, want to have the choice NOT to play with them, period.

    @FreetesBox This is a rather old thread. Typically EA would lock threads like this one to prevent further necroing.

    However, PC really should get the option to opt out back. I'm getting tired of dealing with awful console teammates and going up against console players who are using strikepacks and other software/hardware/programs.
