Lets Talk About Mirage

I am currently a mirage main (Soon to be valkyrie main) I think im solid at sending out decoys at the right times, but there something about mirage that makes him feel low b tier perhaps even C tier, Theres no reasonable buffs I can come up with, but especially when using ult, people hesitate for a moment, and then laser you with r99, I dont even play ranked anymore, because no one seems to like it when I play on ps4 and play an off meta legend, so I end up losing rep, and I get stuck in bronze tier. Its tiring to see a character with so much personality, be completely dunked on by everyone else, he doesnt even have a story from the outlands yet (Though lifeline and gibby dont as well), he feels like the iron man of apex, but his potential is kind of a let down, he has so much interaction with other legends, that lead on to nothing. Theres so much wasted potential, that I hope respawn embraces

    @TuxTart116 They’re accepted that mirage will always be trash, and you probably have if you’re going to main Valkyrie. Good luck in season 9

    @TuxTart116Mirage can sometimes be situational but overall he seems pretty balanced imo, I have alot of fun on mirage and do a decent job at bamboozling people... theres been many times I should not have survived but they thought I was a decoy and just let me grab banners and respawn my teammates and then we won the game with garbage loot that actually happened 2 games in a row one day lol and my randoms were laughing like LMAO THE INVISIBLE MAN IDK HOW YOU DID IT BUT YOU DID IT

    @TheApexLegendNub Hahaha you're right, Mirage decoys can fill so many roles and the bamboozling is like having a temporary scan ability since it pings the enemy location. I always leave a decoy crouched a loot box/ near me when sniping for cover. Fun fact if you get downed with a decoy it can imitate you and we can't forget self ressing decoys. Like you said, I've had games we won simply because of picking mirage, invisible revive is underrated. Next best option to Crypto if you want to respawn a teammate.

    like with Holo Pilot in Tf2, Mirage is only for the BIGGEST chads

    how good he is scales off how good you are more than any other legend and it will always be that way

    that's the nature of characters that rely on "fooling" people
