Lifeline nerf sucks. Respawn is killing the game nerfing to many legends.
I think sometime Respawn have not idea they are killing the game. Stop nerfing so drastically the legends. Lifeline just need a cool down, not remove the res shield.

The problem wasn't that her revive had a shield, it's that it was unlimited and spammable. Adding a 30 second timer on the ability would have fixed it.
- @PraetorOfOlea Its common sense to have her knockdown shield be based on the Res shield.
So the health of the shield is 50 because her knockdown shield is 50

I still think the whole fast revive, backpack revive, auto-revive mechanics is completely wrong in a shooter game. This ain`t LOL. People are here to get kills. And playing solo queue is already a huge pain, and letting your teammates, that do nothing in the whole battle be able to steal your kill with 1-2 shots after Lifeline spam a no-skill ability was a complete joke.
There was absolutely no skill involved towards Lifeline.

As yes, the old appeal to authority, just because ShivFPS can shoot well it doesn't make him an arbiter of intelligence, he is an extremely aggressive player, his opinion is skewed by his own biases just like yours and mine, which is why when we debate over something the idea is to use facts to supplement your opinion. I don't give two hoots what ShivFPS, ImperialHal, Albralelie, etc. have to say.
If you want to use character stats or logically * with a following to say anything on one given day and the exact opposite on another.
Breakable shield scaling with knockdown shield, shield cooldown so if you shoot the drone and cancel the revive she is stuck rezzing like current patch, smaller shield width to stop blocking channel-ways. Obviously, remove the dual rez from this patch.
You're obviously not having a fun time in apex, the point of the game is to be the last person to survive, not tdm in cod where you're racing to a kill goal, again you just perceive lifeline to require no skill yet the tools she has she got because she isn't given those of other characters, to get the rez she lacks movement, has a 5 min (I think) cd on her ult and her tactical is also on a long cooldown compared to others.

He come back like few seasons ago, and the first thing he mention was the ridiculous auto-revive, and how stupid and unfair it is, after playing a few games and have to handle it.
Yeah for a people that was exploiting it and playing pre-made with Lifeline on their team on Pubs, was gold, but for a Solo Q players it was a nightmare.
As far as the rest i have always speaking about Lifeline Tactical needs a buff or rework, as well as her ult just straight up need rework.
Her Ult in my opinion its still no good.
But good balancing is not give all the power to 1 ability and make it insane, and the other 2 are terrible.
And lets be real here, this is a shooting game, no matter what. Everyone is playing about the kills and then about the win. And most people care mostly about the kills, not the win at the end.
Lifeline auto-revive was also stretching the fight time, but by the very wrong way.
I get you have different view and i got no problem with it, by my views is towards a totally fair gameplay for all, not that i have all the fun, and my enemy having a totally frustrating time, because of a totally unfair abilities.
I remember very well when they introduce it, and my K/D/R drop while my average damage was going higher, and the main reason was the auto-revive.
Again my opinion about the revive mechanics, is that it should be 100% fair and standard, and nothing should alter it.
No Gibby, no Mirage, no Lifeline, no one.
Revive should be done with at least a bit of thinking, not mindlessly spam an OP ability. Does anyone think Lifeline is a nerf?

Ultimate and tactical skills are buffs.
The shield was too OP
If you save your teammates and use your tactical skills next to you, your teammates can quickly return to the battlefield, so your tactical skill is a buff.
@lKogitsune_marul If you don't see that having a res shield plus reanimating without even being vulnerable 1 second plus still being able to defend or attack the heck out of your enemy is unfair, what can we do?
It was far superior to Gibby's shield, which is a tactical,
she is able to raise both mates like nothing, and raise time is quicker than regular one.
In arenas, I can't count the time I finish the Lifeline or get stuck while fighting her, only to get killed by the raised character who will finish me as I can't do nothing is she takes the damage and shield them.Indeed, that could be me being bad, I admit it, but actually, whatever my skill is, if I am stuck against a comparable player as SBMM *should* do,
I'll get stuck then two-against-one-ed, if second player is smart and take the opportunity to flank me with a burst instead of laying low.

But, honestly, people who drop names of streamers and "pros" like that clearly lack their own opinion.
I personally don't care about any streamer. I don't care that Rouge is #1 in the world, I don't care that Shiv says it's too strong or whatever it is he's screaming.
I go off my own thoughts and opinions. I don't let words of a streamer/pro dictate how I feel. As I've said, I didn't like that they just removed the shield and how it was, was fine. People lack the skills to counter her shield, so Respawn nerfed it to cater to the low skill players. "But shiv isn't low skill", Respawn also wants to keep their streamers and pros happy to make them more money in the tournaments. Most people who buy out the 24 event cosmetics are streamers and pros.
Unless you have your own thoughts and opinions that are indeed yours and not influenced by another person, it's probably best not to say it, because again like what @lKogitsune_marul said, Shiv isn't the arbiter of intelligence. - @Midnight9746 I agree that you have to form an opinion by yourself, but not all opinion are as well informed. Based on skill, you might prefer taking the info from your doctor for physical matters than from your hippie girlfriend, for instance, even if she's closer to you.
He indeed can be influenced by his biases, but so do you, and his better rank makes for better knowledge of overall game mechanics and understanding where are the cracks to exploit them and get better than opposition. It is not just about good aim.
