I'm playing Apex Legends on Linux for about a year, but 31 october it just stopped working with a message "Apex client failed an anti-cheat backend check". Of course I don't use any cheats. I've tried different versions of Proton but with no success.
Linux was never offically supported by the game. It only worked because Steam's Steam Deck used Linux to run.
Now both Linux, and Steam Decks using Linux, can no longer play the game.

Okey, so moving forward to Deadlock, you're killing the game.

I don't understand why Respawn decided to make the change now, but have fun playing Deadlock!
