Loving Season 5

I stayed away from these boards for a couple days because I knew they would be full of moaning and complaining - and they are, just from the thread titles!

I want to say how much fun I'm having on Season 5. I love the redesign of King's Canyon. I love the power station chargers, the redesign of the area that used to be radar array, the whole new series of platforms and structures over there, the new terrain, hills, walls, it's great.

I sorta miss the instant death zone of Boneyard, but I'm glad that whenever I'm not jump master we aren't landing there. I like the new stuff over there, the giant skull on a crane. It's changed the dynamic. Camping doesn't work as much, so that's a big plus.

I am still useless with the mastiff, but I sure am getting shot by it a lot. The new balancing on weapons is keeping it fresh too. I've enjoyed having the Skullpiercer back on the Wingman. 

I like the new character Loba, or at least the way she plays. It's a cool new idea to have the blackmarket so players don't have to search every inch of a zone. I really am enjoying the ability to teleport behind enemies or to change the angle of attack. I am a little bothered by the "banter" between Loba and Revenant when you happen to have them on the same team, it keeps taking me out of the fun. Like when Revenant says "from the little girl whose parents I killed" and stuff like that. It's random generated dialogue, not a user quip.
