Mad Maggie wrecking ball does not destroy Mobile shield

Since S14 the wrecking ball can destroy Dome of protection (Gibraltar), but why can't destroy Mobile shield (Newcastle) ?

@id_waki Gibby OP and popular. Newcastle not OP and not popular. Pretty sure that is the logic behind this, simply put.
