Map SELECTION ! REMOVE ROTATION PLEASE!

I think that it is really cool that player feedback was heard and changes were made to the map rotation system......but I can't help but feel that one of the player's biggest concerns is not being he...

@MonhulioThis might be anecdotal but I'd say it's somewhat relevant as I might not be the only one (judging by the forums, I'm not). But two of my friends I used to play have stopped playing (we played every day until rotations), I still play but not nearly as much as I used to. First couple days I'd check which map is on and leave if KC was on the menu, played if it was WE, however switched to a different game as soon as KC came back on. Nowadays I don't even enter the game to check, I open a random stream and see what map is on, if it's not to my liking I play something else for the remainder of the day.

I have enough coins for the next battlepass, but I'm not getting it if rotations stay. Not out of protest, just the mere fact that I know I won't play the game nearly enough to justify it.

Regardless though, changes are occurring with the rotation incase you weren't aware before you posted in forums.

I am aware of the changes although to me they aren't really meaningful at all. I think that if my map selection isnt plausible (which I believe it is) then remove KC in general. Its old. Let the game move forward with new maps and new pieces to the story. Map rotation is a bad system and the feedback has been a resounding NO from so many players. Map selection or choose 1 map.

@Monhulio And here we are 2 weeks later, I completely stopped playing for the reason I mentioned earlier. It's just not convenient for me to wait out the map I wholeheartedly dislike. People don't like being forced into things they don't enjoy, and it shows.

  @7xRelax I really don't mean to be rude with this statement, but you don't seem to track the game much. There's a LTM where you drop in worlds edge with a P2020 and a white shield, tomorrow at 1pm est it becomes a blue shield, and later it will be purple, then an evo. It's a test to see if this feature should go core. Hinted at more tests in the future to shake up gameplay. If you don't want to provide feedback on possibly not dropping empty handed that's your choice. Long story short, you are getting your worlds edge map in easy pick atm.
  
  My statement stands. No other battle royale game lets you "choose" which map to play in. We already got a 3 way split still (Duos, Trios, Ranked). We don't have the population for it, OR THEY WOULD LIKELY DO AS YOU ASK. And sad news for you, the way things are progressing, Kings Canyon is likely season 5 map, but with map changing details similar to worlds edge. Hopefully widening the map.
  
  SO that actually means IF season 5 map is KK, and IF you choose to play, you would actually be happy with the rotation because it takes you back to Worlds Edge. If you don't play this season, your loss. Can't please everyone.
  
  All I can recommend is: try the Limited Time Mode with shields and pistols for guaranteed worlds edge (if you want), and wait for season 5 info to see if they change Kings Canyon enough in a manner that pleases you.
  
  Otherwise, the rotation brings back worlds edge instead of season 5 KK, which is actually the map you want so....... Is your rotation argument still valid?
  
  PS. You wouldn't be able to even request a specific map in any other BR, so you WOULD be forced into something you "don't like".

    Also not being rude, but at this point its just stale and seemingly pointless. The LTM, for now at least, allows people to play the map they want but pushing KC on us in season 5 seems silly (in lieu of other words) to me. Your statement is still not as solid to me also. We could do selection especially on console especially if there was cross-platform. Can't "please" everyone but i guess when the game gets stale and most of the player drop it for other games then I guess you REALLY wont have the player base for it. Tweaks to KC wont make it We and it almost makes me ask why did they made WE to begin with if they were going to just push it away even though data shows that after season 2 it greatly increased player base and gameplay. I'd honestly even rather they create a whole New map instead of trying to choke us with KC which is not only less fun to play on, but artistically stale looking (to me at the very least). Also, the map rotation argument would still be valid even after season 5 if they push KC because we still wouldn't want to rotate to the map we don't like.....obviously that is why we want selection or just getting rid of KC ()which I still feel is a lackluster map) or even both areas for new things.....but it seems no one cares and respawn will do what it wants so many people will have to find fun somewhere else. Sad but simple

  @7xRelaxJust thought of a solution to your complaint. What if duo's and trio's alternated between each map at a similar rate? Would that be satisfactory? Then, theoretically you can always choose which map, though you can't quite full squad in it as easily. While duo's is in KK, trios is in worlds edge, and it swaps over at a similar rate as currently. Still 3 modes, better map selection.
