Map SELECTION ! REMOVE ROTATION PLEASE!

@Andrexal300Again, what if duo's and trio's alternate each on their own timeline between the two maps? You wouldn't be able to full squad as you please, but you WOULD get your map selection technically speaking.

I would also wait to see what happens in season 5, KK or no. We honestly have no idea the full scope of what "is or isn't good enough" for a map change until we have it. Outside of new character, nothing else has actually been confirmed. Only theorized, datamined info and teasers.

Will we get a 3rd map? Eventually, and if we are being misled again it could be this coming season, if not perhaps next season.

I would really suggest you "reflect" on the idea / mindset that "they don't listen" or "they push stuff on us we don't want". The entire reason rotations were put in was BECAUSE people wanted to play KK again. Then they played and realized it wasn't nearly as good as they remembered and a full reversal occurred. They put it in as rotation because playerbase size, maybe that will change when the hinted at crossplay feature finally hits (dev hinted at it coming really soon, but unknown how soon that is).

Revenant got a massive buff from both loud feedback and data details. Mirage getting buff if not a rework. Potentially lifeline too. Players ask for KK and get it (they discover they didn't want, but still they got what they asked for). Bloodhound got a much needed buff, Gibby too. KK after dark got removed from rotation playlist, rotation time on KK got reduced. Crypto (if not all characters that can proc threat detection) are getting an ability to increase damage a spotted enemy takes. And a fair number of other things they "responded to feedback on".

A response to feedback isn't always instant, it isn't always in the way any specific person wants or thinks it should occur, and claiming "no one cares" is a narrow view. Remember, just because a handful of us post on the forums or reddit, does not make any of us part of the majority that feels any particular way. Many of the majority don't even actually post or comment TBH.

Can they tweak the way the rotation works? Yes. Should the remove it? No, as using the same argument you just used, playing the same map for 3-4 months can be very "stale and uninteresting". Could they eventually add map selection when the playerbase supports it / crossplay comes along (with the PC cheaters it will entail?) yes.

You want a prime example of why we can't have map selection right now? I tried selecting regular rotation during this event with a full squad. We couldn't even start a single match. The fact that this is actually possible proves they are right in being cautious with any additional "map selection" methods. Especially since we now have 3 permanent game modes. Adding map selection right now? Would make that a 5. It's duo's / trios, KK / WE, or my suggested combination rotation of the two. You can't and won't get both of those any other way until crossplay.
