Matchmaking for new players.
How is a new player supposed to get hooked in the game, when on the 2nd hour of playing I'm matched against people with over 10k kills?

@Highresista Oh yeah, the worst thing you can do in Apex Legends is play with friends in a premade.
The matchmaking system will dramatically inflate your hidden matchmaking rating when you queue premade. This has been an issue since 2019 and there are thousands of forum posts since 2019 describing this exact same issue you're having.

This is so true. Game wants you to play with friends, then spanks you for playing with friends. I'd call it a design flaw, but I'm a solo myself so it doesn't really affect me.
