Let's start with what I like - I love the Battle Pass this season. I love Revenant as a legend and his new sky dive emote where he turns into a deathbox is hilarious. I love the skins, charms etc. I mean, you get a bunch of cosmetics (what can you expect from BP). Rampart seems fun, can't say how popular she will be during this season. The updated version of the map seems ok, a lot left to explore. Also like the new weapon. But with the issues present, this all seems like a way to distract us with shiny objects.
Now, on the other side, Volt has the potential of being the next Havoc. Everyone is going to pick it up and it's going to end up toxic. I strongly dislike R99 being a Care Package weapon. I love it, and I was getting better and better with it (in terms of recoil and aim). Same thing happened with the PK last season (Ok guys, tell me what gun you hate, I'll play it and they turn it into a Care Package weapon next season, it's kinda my superpower).
This game still hasn't addressed the real issues like silent Devo and no footstep audio. It gets so bad that the full squad is literally 5m from you and you can't hear them. It's been an issue for a looooong time, and you'd think they would actually fix it. I'm aware of the situation, Covid and stuff, but what's your excuse for the seasons before 5 and 6? No reg issue is still present. Cheaters are also there, just ruining the game for everyone else. I'm kinda curious, when are you going to address these issues Respawn?
The map seems ok, kinda meh. None of the updates are wow. There was an issue with the train so your solution is to remove it? Sloppy. And why remove the Mirage Voyage? it was a fun place to land and now it just looks bare.
I don't know, your solutions are really unusual. They make no sense. Hope you finally start working on serious problems.
@SchweppesJunkie I would not say that the Volt is the next havoc, I would say it is the next R99, hits body shots for 17 rather than 12 and hits head shots for 36 rather than 16/18.
The R99 had next to 0 recoil and was my favourite gun also, but it would make more sense keeping it as a supply drop along with the PK because they are both too strong.
Bugs do need to be addressed, especially the audio issues. They had to destroy the train because that would be the only logical thing to put inside the tunnels where the train is, else the clutter would not make sense and the train would not be able to pass.
Strike pack users need to definitely be perm banned and fined.

- @MoNosDirtyGaming I said it has the potential. It could go either way. Why ? You said it yourself, it does more damage than R9 but it has a slower fire rate. As far as I could tell , Volt has next to no recoil, and you just have to pull it down. R9 laser style, LOL ))) I mean, you and me both like the R9 and we don’t find it toxic, but there’s a whole lot of people whining about getting lasered by R9s all the time. We’ll see, I guess. It the first day of the season, and what we see is nowhere near the real picture.
Idk man, they were reworking the map and destroying the train seems like an easy way out. Which seems to be their theme these days.
Again, this is my personal opinion and it’s ok to disagree. I mean, different perspectives usually yield some pretty amazing solutions.
Audio is the biggest issue, along with cheaters. I wish they would do a 2F authentication or even hardware ban those people.- @SchweppesJunkie Volt shoots slower than the R99 but hits harder, makes sense due to it being a good gun to oppose the R99. I haven't tested both guns side by side yet but I'd say that they shoot practically the same, one just feels slower and the other feels faster.
Yeah I really would have liked to see a new map, tired of playing these boring maps for almost 2 years now, by the looks of things, and from them modifying this map, it tells me that we will see a new map once a year only.- Restore armor values to where they were pre-season 6 and keep the other changes
- The volt, havoc, and devo are all lasers. Please give them recoil
- Has the sound gotten worse?
Honestly most of the changes in the game are good but the lack of recoil on energy weapons and the nerf to shield hp make this season bad imo. Other guns can't compete with the 3 guns mentioned, and the nerf shields was not only unnecessary but it makes the game campy
