After reading the patch notes I was impressed with the changes and was looking forward to playing but I played 25 games within 3 and a half hours last night! That to me is a lot and I don't remember playing so many games in one night before. It's because I'm getting killed easier and quicker than usual.
Now it is only the first day but I'm thinking the time to kill changes could be a problem especially for average players like me and potentially make it easier for really good players.
If I get into trouble I don't seem to have chance to run away or get into cover quick enough and I killed very quickly.
I expect some other players of similar skill to myself will be having the same issue.
Not sure how it is for better players?
- @Marge010 The issue is that armor doesn't feel as good anymore, which makes us play differently, more smart. The problem is that most people still push fights and devotion is back on the ground. That and we got an op volt and L-Star. So in short, there's high damage guns, less shields, and people are killing you too quickly. Most of my games are filled with cheaters.
Before you say "nah you're just bad", imagine you're hiding and someone instantly finds you when you made no sound. They flat out went to where you were. (wall hacks) Or, you're fighting someone who has a gun that has high recoil, but it shoots in a stright line (anti recoil), or you run into a building and quietly exit out the other side to escape someone, and that person was already aiming at the door like they knew you were there (wall hacks). Or maybe you got shot down in 4-5 wingman hits and the guy was so far away, they look like a blurred color (aimbot).
Changing the time to kill, only increased the number of cheaters. End of season 5 was bad, now it's a nightmare.I like the shorter TTK, no need to spent 2 mags to kill someone. First see, first kill is what I like. Makes it more tactical, and less anoying. More mature.
Jumping into 3 squads just to shoot around and think to get 1000 kills in imagination, is what I did with 12 years (=Unlimited POWER - Star Wars sidenote) We all know it's not like that.
Ive been playing a bit more today and its the same. Its like they turned up the difficulty level from hard to insanely hard!
So far I've played 41 games and only got 34 kills. Not doing too well at the moment.
