Megathread: World's Edge map feedback at launch

The new map is the worst map i ever seen in a AAA game. Please, allow the players to play in the old map. EA_Blueberry: Edited post title to help gather feedback around World's Edge

I just played a game where I was in the last 2 squads and my team lost solely because there is a huge mountain that you cannot get over or through so we just died in the storm. This is the worst game map I've ever seen, I want Kings Canyon back.

There have been a lot of spot-on comments in this thread so far. I am new to Apex, and was so surprised by how good it was, thinking it would be just another FN. The level of communication one can have with teammates without using a mic is brilliant. Gameplay is very good overall, and the map (King’s Canyon) was fun to play on. I started this new season and was like: let’s find somewhere interesting and fun to drop...I didn’t find anywhere. I played three matches. Boring, ugly, bad layout. I could go on, but others have already said enough.

A lot of people complained that Kings Canyon wasn’t updated enough (my self being one of them), a lot of people complained they wanted a new map. Now they have brought out a brand new map, not just a small update a lot of people are still complaining. Some people will never be happy.
Perhaps the best way to please everyone is to have both maps available, however I think that would be a bad move. I do like the new map, however if I had a choice between the two I would probably choose KC simply because I know the map and it’s smaller. Forcing me to play WE gives me the opportunity to try and try again, and I’m sure I will begin to like it even more than I do now.
Having said that, the main reason I’m not much of a fan is because the lack of battles. The map is far too big. They need to add more teams, perhaps 33 teams. I’m going to enjoy season 3 and WE for what it is, but once KC makes a comeback I probably won’t touch WE again until they add more teams.
