Melee is OP/broken
It is ridiculous that 4 melees do the equivalent damage of 10 pistol rounds. This is crazy in the beginning of a round when you pick up a pistol and blast someone 6 times in the chest but they kill ...

Melee is fine. Want to know what you should have done? Melee him as well and while he's knocked back from the punch, shoot him a couple of times with your pistol as you close the gap to melee him again. Rinse and repeat. You would have killed him way faster than he could have dropped you with his melee only. You got 100% outplayed. Learn from it and better yourself instead of complaining about it on the forums.
Melee feels great in Apex.
The knockback really works well to avoid the idiotic PUBG style point-blank range body blocking, jumping, camera direction punching mess.
