Mirage buff/changes ideas.

So I've been thinking about Mirage's skills, and maybe especially his tactical.
While it has its' uses it is just not all that interesting any more.

You send it out and yeah you can control it a little, but it is rather janky. It is also old, everyone knows it despite Mirage having received multiple buffs. Therefore I suggest making it more interesting and flexible.

These are not in order and may be individual or combined:

Clone target: Clone any ally or enemy, the clone can be retargetted for a duration if not shot. Steer it as usual.
Clone remote interaction: send your clone to open a door, loot bin or interact with a scan beacon.
*Sending one to a respawn beacon or death box could perhaps fake a respawn?
Second view point: see what the clone sees on a pip-screen or toggle.
Mass-clones: Using ultimate while having a clone out splits the clone.
Clone protocols: Tell the clone what to do for a bit more autonomy, patrol, sneak, waypoints.
Remote detonate: stun and detect enemies nearby (no damage).

You could also replace the clone and go with the "trickster" part of Mirage's style.

Target a trap to take control over it (Caustic, Wattson, Catalyst)
Target Rampart's walls to flip the direction of the powered up section of her wall.
Target Newcastle's shield drone to briefly take control of it's movement.
Target a door to make a illusionary door, you can walk and shoot through it, but if enemies do it they will be pinged.
Target  Axle's speed pad, Octane's jump pad or Mad Maggies speed pads (from her ball) to disable their effect (timed?)
Target a loot bin to close it, add a grenade to trap it, otherwise ping enemy who opens it.

For the ultimate, you could possibly change it as well, but it might suit another character better:

Mass confusion: Turn all players within an area into a generic silhouette - noone can not see who is who.

I disagree. I think his skill set could grow a lot with things that could suit his character.

  • Mirage doesn't need any more buffs. He's very good, has invisibility and abilities that regenerate very quickly.
